VERDI Blog

Welcome to the blog on the international research campaign VERDI (Vertical Distribution of Ice in Arctic Clouds). During VERDI, scientists from various research institutes in Germany will perform airborne measurements in and above Arctic clouds. We will be based in Inuvik, Northwest Territories, Canada, near the Beaufort Sea of the Arctic Ocean. Since 9 April, 2012, the aircraft is being prepared for the campaign at Muskoka Airport in Ontario.
